James Concannon

James Concannon completed his Mechanical Engineering BEng at the University of Exeter before pursuing a Sustainable Energy Engineering MSc at the University of Nottingham. During his Master's program, he focused his research on the impact of double main-bearing radial pre-misalignment on the bearing life of direct-drive wind turbines. His choice of academic experiences and career have been greatly influenced by his interest in wind energy. 

James joined ONYX Insight as a Business Analyst, where he gained valuable insights into the wind turbine condition monitoring sector. He is now within Product Management of the Advanced Sensing team, allowing him to effectively apply his market knowledge to the development of sensing solutions that will enable owner-operators to maximise the potential of their turbines.
