Christopher Harrison

Dr. Christopher Harrison is a rotor blade certification engineer at DNV in Denmark. He has worked since 2018 with OEMs and wind turbine owners to verify and certify some of the newest and largest wind turbine blades in the world. Chris is also responsible for the DNV blade standard, DNV-ST-0376, and represents DNV in international standard development committees. 

Whilst at DNV, Chris has also been a visiting professor at the University of West of England in the subject of composite structures. Prior to DNV Chris has about 20 years working with composite structures (ranging from radomes to bridges), of which about 15 are with composite rotor blades (helicopters and wind turbines).
